A light curtain matrix fiber optic sensor operates by transmitting a grid of light beams through optical fibers, detecting interruptions or changes in the light to sense objects or measure positions.Working PrincipleA light curtain matrix consists of multiple optical fibers arranged in a grid or matrix, forming a detection field. Each fiber acts as a light transmitter or receiver, creating a network of intersecting light beams. When an object enters the detection area, it blocks or modulates the light traveling through the fibers, which is then detected by the sensor's receiver system .
