Second-Level Distribution Box (Sub-Distribution Box): Installed near power consumption areas or large equipment, it receives power from the first-level box and distributes it to tertiary switch boxes. It typically contains branch circuit breakers and branch leakage protectors, protecting and managing each branch circuit. This level ensures that faults in one branch do not affect the entire system . Third-Level Distribution Box (Switch Box): This is the final junction box directly connected to electrical equipment. Each switch box generally controls one piece of equipment or a group of similar devices, following the “one machine, one switch” principle.
