Improper Relay Settings Relays must be calibrated to the motor's full-load amperage (FLA). If the relay is set too low, it can trip unnecessarily during normal operation. Power Supply Issues Unstable supply conditions can lead to over-tripping:Low voltage: Motors draw higher current to maintain torque, causing overheating .Phase imbalance: Uneven current across phases increases load on one winding .Single-phasing: Loss of one phase in a three-phase system forces remaining phases to carry excessive current . 4.
